It’s no secret that summer is far and away my favorite season, and the approaching Labor Day holiday always looms on the horizon like a teacher calling her class in from recess. I’ve just never been one of those people that can get into the cooler months – changing leaves are honestly kinda lame, football is boring (yeah, I said it), and snow just flat out sucks.
So in honor of the end of my favorite season, I’ve been hitting up the farmers’ market on my walk home from work and embracing summer’s better-than-the-rest produce. Last night we cooked up this fig/arugula/prosciutto pizza (dank) and grilled zucchini from Andrea Reusing’s new cookbook.
Time to start planning a winter vacation. Vieques?
